The Outstanding Educator of the Year Award recognizes a member of ANCW

who has initiated and participated in innovative and high-quality programs in her local units or states in beef education. Nominations and selection will be made annually with recognition at an ANCW meeting.

The purpose is to bestow honor and recognition upon an ANCW member who has used her time, talents, and resources to educate others about the beef industry and agricuture at local, state and/or national venues. Nomination form to be completed, submitted to the ANCW office by the deadline listed below.

Guidelines

Any individual or local may submit a nomination to be considered by the state selection committee. Each state or affiliate may nominate one Outstanding Educator of the Year. The nomination is to be submitted annually.
Nominations should be submitted using this form. The deadline for submitting nominations is October 15 of the current year.
Procurement of the award is the responsibility of the ANCW committee chairs. Cost to be within budget guidelines. Presentation of the award shall be made at the ANCW Summer Meeting.

Criteria for the award:

• Recipient shall be an ANCW member

• Recipient shall have demonstrated skills in reaching a variety of audiences

with creative and timely messages about beef and show evidence of having

made significant impact by telling the beef story.

Past recipients are not eligible for three years. The current K-12 working group manager, or any Beef Promotion Focus Area Working Group Managers are ineligible.
